16th July 2009 - Buzet,Croatia - Day 5 - Task 5 - Interim Report [20:15]
Its been an interesting task !
When we started looking at the retrieve possibilities it seemed that they were fairly good - as long as nobody lands in one particular spot (there are 4 roads in the area and none of them are connected....which means a 30 minute drive back to the main road before going up the next road)
Guess where most of the field landed....!
After that leg of the course, anyone that got round turnpoint 3 made goal - 26 pilots in all
Downloads are almost complete and the results will be out soon

16th July 2009 - Buzet, Croatia - Day 5 - Task 5 - 61.1km Race to Goal
We're a little late with the news today (sorry) because we've all been up to take-off this morning.
We have a task - its a 61.1 km race to a remote goal 27km South East of Buzet.
Start was at 14:10 so the race has been running for 15mins at the time of writing.
The map is below and the live map is active on www.fastretrieve.com/mapping - live positions will be available during download on www.fastretrieve.com/download as usual.
16th July 2009 - Buzet, Croatia - Day 5 - Morning [08:30]
We have woken to yet another clear and sunny morning (in fact, every day seems to be the same here). The sky is clear but a little hazy and it is hot, even at 8:30.
The prospect for a task looks good so the busses will be loading in a while - task details will be here when we have them.
We try to give the winning teams a spot on the web - so here is the winning team from task 3 - ABAC/Niviuk

And the pick of yesterday's photos.....

Two days ago the European Championship looked like it was 'in the bag' - now its all changed. Aljaz (below) was at the top of the list but he has been replaced by Yassen....so, there is everything to fly for - who will be the first European Champion....?
Philippe has been busy - so here are some videos to keep you going...
